Experiments / Prototypes / Retired concepts / Small games
TheLab.
Playable prototypes, hero concepts that didn't ship, and small games built out of the ASDF mark. This is where ideas get tried before they get client work.
Arcade mode, game one: ranks of A, S, D and F glyphs march down while the ASDF logo erodes as your shields.
The hero's cursor lens turned into an almond-shaped eye: pale glyph lids, a scrambled iris and a pupil that looks where you're heading.
The robot take: an octagonal housing, counter-rotating rings, a core in the signal colour and shutter doors instead of lids.
Eye 01 made round like a ball. A blink squashes it into a slit, and glyphs around it get pushed outward.
The last eye before the hero went back to plain: nothing new is drawn. The logo's own letters lift and catch light, like an eye pushing up through a sheet.
The homepage logo rebuilt as spring-loaded ASCII glyphs over CRT static. Push it, throw shockwaves, type A-S-D-F.
